WeCare Finance may use the Motor Vehicle Register to access your name and address to help assess your loan application and manage your loan.
We may use this information to:

• Check that the person applying for finance is the registered owner of the vehicle.
• Confirm that the registered owner of a vehicle with an existing security interest is the person who received the finance.

Anyone can ask the Motor Vehicle Register not to share their name or address under authorisation.

This is in line with Section 241 of the Land Transport Act 1998.
